Obituary for Marilyn L Coble

Marilyn L  Coble
generation Florida family in Tampa, Florida.
Marilyn graduated from Plant High School, attended Florida State University and graduated from Stetson University. She was a teacher in Hillsborough County and Volusia County for 10 years.
On July 3, 1956, she married Jerome Kermit Coble who predeceased her. They had two children, Carolyn Dawn Cobe Huro and Jerome (Jerry) Kermit Coble Jr, who also predeceased her. She leaves her beloved grandson, Jeffery Dale Huro; granddaughter, Keri Samantha Coble and Jenny Ann Huro.
After teaching, Marilyn continued her work for children through the March of Dimes and as a guardian ad literm. She actively served on the Halifax Health (formerly Halifax Medical Center) Board of Commissioners for eight years as Treasurer.
She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt who will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Halifax Health Foundation, located at 303 N. Clyde Morris Blvd or by calling 386-425-4111.
Service will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at St. James Episcopal Church located at 38 S. Halifax Dr. in Ormond Beach, with reception to follow at Pelican Bay, 350 Pelican Bay Drive (off Beville Road) Daytona Beach.
