Obituary for
Chalmer Edwards
Edwards, C.V. “Vic”
C. V. “Vic” Edwards, 77, was at home surrounded by his family as he peacefully went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 11, 1939 in Knoxville, TN, and enjoyed frequent trips back there to visit. He joined the Air Force directly from high school and after an Honorable Discharge, went on to open a successful appliance repair shop in Daytona Beach with his wife, which continued until his passing. For many years he was known as the “appliance man” from people in the community. His first love was his wife of 56 years, Ann and his family. His second love was classic automobiles and he was an avid collector, spending most of his spare time showing and restoring new acquisitions and attending car shows with many close friends. He studied the bible earnestly and spread the word of God every chance he got. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Bo and Chad Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Ann, 3 daughters and their spouses, Vicky (Rodney), Maresa (Joe) and Karen (Jim), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who were his pride and joy. There will be a Memorial Service, Monday, November 21, 2016 at 1 PM in the chapel of Cardwell, Baggett & Summers Funeral Home, 301 Big Tree Road, South Daytona, FL
